Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc. to Appoint New Chief Financial Officer

January 22, 2024  —  Olney, Maryland  —  Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc.  (NASDAQ: SASR) appointed Charlie S. Cullum, the Company’s current Treasurer, to serve as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Mr. Cullum will transition to Chief Financial Officer upon the retirement of Philip J. Mantua, the Company’s current Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Mantua will extend his retirement date, previously disclosed as March 31, 2024, until the end of the year to support this leadership transition.

Mr. Cullum, age 39, has served as Treasurer of Sandy Spring Bank, the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary, since July 2022. Prior to serving as Treasurer, Mr. Cullum served as Corporate Strategist and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. Mr. Cullum has been with Sandy Spring Bank since 2006.
