S&T Names Chief Information Officer
October 13, 2025 — S&T Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: STBA) is pleased to announce that Vorachat Tamarree has joined the company as senior vice president, chief information officer. Vorachat will lead the bank’s technology strategy and delivery, which are foundational components of the bank’s success and central to how S&T will deliver for its’ customers and employees into the future. He will be responsible for ensuring the long-term scalability of systems and platforms, advancing automation strategy and digital capabilities, and charting an innovation course as technology continues to advance.
Vorachat brings more than 25 years of experience leading large-scale technology transformation, managing product and engineering teams, and driving innovation across a variety of industries, including financial services. He recently served as the Director of Software Engineering for Emerging Technology at Walmart where he led a team exploring, developing and driving adoption of emerging technologies to enhance automation, security, and AI-driven solutions. Previously, he was the Head of Technology Innovation at PNC Bank where he focused on identifying and implementing new technologies to address complex business challenges, enhance customer and colleague experiences, and drive operational efficiency.
In his new role, Vorachat will report to Michael Golden, Chief Operating Officer. Moving forward, Vorachat will help shape and advance the technology organization to best support the Bank’s long-term growth and innovation goals. The addition of a CIO to the bank’s leadership team reflects our commitment to advancing how S&T Bank uses technology as a strategic advantage. As the pace of innovation, digital transformation and proliferation of emerging technologies like AI continue to reshape our industry, Vorachat and his team will ensure S&T is investing in the right capabilities, strengthening resilience, and modernizing the platforms that power the bank’s people-forward banking approach.
